A Partnership with Children’s Hope Chest
About Our Partnership
New Community Church has a partnership with Children’s Hope Chest. Our partnership supports children in the community of the Abenezer’s Care Point. This relationship allows the children in this community to grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Individuals from our community also get the opportunity to interact with these children through letter writing or visiting the Care Point on a mission trip.

November 2022, a project has been proposed for the Abenezer Care Point in Ethiopia. This project is to construct a school toilet.
To improve this limited access to quality education, Children’s Hope Chest in collaboration with Abenezer Children Home constructed a kindergarten school and a separate store office. There are 130 children attending the school. Yet, the Kindergarten lacks a toilet for the children and teachers, which has brought sanitation and health problems.
Children’s Hope Chest has proposed construction to add a standard toilet and shower for the school use, to overcome sanitation/health problems and to bring the school to its standard it is designed.
The total amount needed to get this project started and completed is $19,504.
